When I picture my dream home, I don’t imagine a huge mansion or something flashy. I imagine a place filled with peace, warmth, and love—surrounded by nature and far away from the noise of the world.
In my heart, my dream home is tucked away in the Pacific Northwest, where tall evergreen trees stretch toward the sky and misty mornings feel like a gentle hug. Our home sits on a quiet piece of land, with mountains in the distance and birdsong greeting us every morning.
It’s a cozy house—nothing too big, but just right for my husband and me. Natural light pours through large windows, warming the wooden floors and soft neutral-colored walls. There’s a small front porch where we sip coffee together before the day begins and a back patio where we watch the sunsets paint the sky.
Inside, every room tells a story. The kitchen is where laughter fills the air as we cook simple meals together. The living room holds comfortable furniture, soft blankets, and shelves filled with books and faith-filled décor that reminds us to stay grounded. Our bedroom is peaceful and uncluttered—a place of rest after long days.
My favorite space is a small reading and prayer nook near a window. It’s where I spend quiet mornings journaling, praying, and reflecting before the world wakes up. It reminds me to slow down and be present.
